On Saturday, June 15, 2019, the strains of Neil Young, The Bee Gees, Crosby Stills and Nash, James Taylor, and many more soared into the warm night air below Mount Olympus. Thirty-five music lovers gathered for an evening of food, fun and tunes. Brenda Voisard and Maureen Davies generously opened their home and supplied a delicious meal of snacks, pulled-pork sandwiches, salads, desserts, ice cream and beverages. Seated around the cozy, tree-shaded backyard, party-goers enjoyed hearing dozens of hits from the Sixties, Seventies, and beyond, played by the band Brenda-Travis-Richard-Collin. Tickets for the evening were sold at the 2018 SVUUS auction, and the event raised about $1500 for the church. Photos by Ann Scarborough and Kris Berg.
