WHEN: Friday to Monday (Labor Day Weekend)
WHERE: Diamond Fork Campground, Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.
The campground is an open setting with access to hiking trails, waterfalls, hot springs, river fishing, and canyons. Nearest town: Spanish Fork. Elevation: 5,200 feet. Map.
COST: Per campsite for the whole weekend: $40 for 1 vehicle or $50 for 2 vehicles. Day parking is $10.
DIRECTIONS: From I-15 take exit 261 heading up Spanish Fork Canyon. Continue up Spanish Fork Canyon for about 9 miles to Forest Service Road 029 (Diamond Fork Canyon). Turn left into Diamond Fork Canyon.
WORSHIP: Outdoor Sunday morning service on Sept. 1, followed by a potluck lunch.

PET POLICY: Pets are allowed in all national forests, but must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times while in developed recreation areas and on interpretive trails. Most other areas within the National Forests do not require dogs to be on a leash, but they should be under control at all times. Pets are not permitted in swimming areas.
