Meet Our New Interim Minister, Rev. Karen Madrone

Read Karen's letter to the SVUUS community.

Karen has just completed a Master of Divinity degree at Union Theological Seminary in New York. She also holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and she earned a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan College. Her past ministries include internships at First Unitarian Congregational Society (Brooklyn, NY), and the UU Fellowship of Northern Westchester (Mount Kisco, NY).

“My ministerial presence is one of being present and open to possibilities. I believe in listening, paying attention, noticing what is happening and responding to the congregation accordingly.”
