We are a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). The UUA is a religious organization that combines two traditions: the Universalists, who organized in 1793, and the Unitarians, who organized in 1825. They consolidated into the UUA in 1961.
We’re also part of the Mountain Desert District of the Unitarian Universalist Association. The Mountain Desert District has 46 congregations and spans eight states: Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico with congregations in eastern Idaho, west Texas and western Nebraska.
South Valley Unitarian Universalist Society is one of several Unitarian Universalist congregations in Utah. Although all are centered around the Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism, every church is unique. Drop by this warm, welcoming community this week and experience this remarkable congregation for yourself.
